With the intensity of the previous game and the refs calling everything it led to a lot of frustration which boiled over. The whole first and second period was played shorthanded by someone.

There was a total of 20 minor penalties, add the 2 5 minute majors the canes got and subtract the time from powerplay goals and thats roughly 45/60 minutes of the game played where someone was shorthanded.

Guys were steping up for the tigers tonight that ive rarely seen fight before.
The fans(including me) have been questioning their effort lately and it seemed like the whole team took it out on the canes tonight.

It was a helluva war out their. The most entertaining game i have seen this year.

You guys are lucky. The Friday game was pretty boring. Probably because commisioner Ron Robinson was in the house. Would have loved to be at last nights fiasco.
