    Default First overall?

As long as we win out we get first overall correct? A tough task indeed but who knows.

If you guy's beat Kamloops tonight i like your chances
of first overall but the Giants and Hitmen are so evenly
matched,I don't think it will really matter who gets home ice
IF they meet in the final......

I hope they do meet in the final...I watched the first match up on the Tube at the local bar, but missed the home game here...
Not only will it be the best final IMO, but I want to see Postma, Sonne, Broda, Golicic, etc...play live.
I'd have to disagree with you on the home ice, though. I think that they are so evenly matched that the 4th Home crowd/linechange benefits may be the edge that one of these teams needs to win it all....

    Agreed..

    and Sect Z

They are all that and a bag of chips live

Postma is a fantastic D-man, Sonne is lightning quick and sees the ice really well, but like the Giants this team has success not because of their stars, but because they can get scoring throuhg the line-up AND play as a TEAM.

You saw Broda playing for the warriors when he was here and he was amazing.

Tonight is our last game in hand, we are one point behind the Hitmen. They have two more games on Sat and Sun, ours are on Fri and Sat.

A lil superstitious I know, but since Red Deer in 2001, no team that has won the Scotty Munro Trophy has gone to win both the WHL and Memorical Cup Championships. Hell, the last team to win it, and just be WHL Champions was in 2003 (Kelowna).

Yes, it's a nice achievement, but given the trend lately, Calgary can win it. That thing is cursed.

lol-- you know I was wondering that .. thanks Rocko .. its not really that important and it feels like it might not be in the cards for us this time around and that might be okay.

Its good to have that to shoot for though to keep the boys motivated to have something to aim for as the regular season closes out.

No more shoot-outs! YIPPPEEE!!! I hate those friggin things
