The price will be too high for Eberle(which it should be),
I believe he stays and the pats make the playoffs..

word is eberle's price is two first round picks and a top list player. so think the setoguchi trade plus a little more. don't know if there is any gm in the league who will give up that much. eberle and teubert will remain pats and hockey fans in regina are in for a couple of very long seasons starting next year.

Assuming they make the playoffs. They have a good shot as long as they don't finish 6th or 8th. I would take on any other team in the confernce considering.

I agree. 7th spot is gotta be preferable to 6th or 8th. In 7th you almost certainly avoid the Blades and Wheaties. I think Regina with Eberle can give the Hat/Calg/Koot a good run for it. Realistically 7th is the best Regina can do. The other 6 teams are too far ahead and are playing too good.

After tonights game and Favreau having a -2 i would get rid of him either by trade or reassigning him. Hes a minus player with 1 goal I dont see him playing much this year. Sparrow i could see getting moved or going to the SJHL he rarely plays and when he does hes also a minus player with 0 points. I realize they are young but this teams needs to get better and they are not WHL calibre players. Just my opinion.

There r a few players who rnt WHL calibre players on this team which includes all 3 (or 4 depends how u look at it) of our goalies

seriously patsdude? Ketlo is allright by WHL standards(not great last starts, but had a good start to the season), and Guhle is a great young goalie.

Martyniuk is agile, but too small and not great positionally...which hurts alot. Might not be WHL calibre, the other two definitely are.

oh Guhle is fine i agree, but is very inexperienced.. Guhle has past Ketlo in terms of which goalie it better between the pipes.

Ketlo had a good start to the year cuz teams were still getting to know each other & learning systems & such... he is avg at best but yet still abit below avg

Parker has to face the reality that he needs 2 teams above him to hit the skids in order for you to even make the playoffs. If there was only one team you had to pass, it might be do-able, but with 2 ahead of you its next to impossible.
Projected points are
7th SC 80 points
8th RD 80 points
9th PA 75 points

So you need to get to 81 points, that means going 21 and 6, play at 0.777 clip which no team is at this year in the dub. Common sense dictates you sell off eberle and Teubert.
I hope you don't, because that means we don't waste picks on Eberle, it'll mean the Blades don't get the scorer they covet, and it means Regina will be weak for the next year or 2. But Parker, if he has any sense at all, will move Eberle and Teubert, it's the only sensible move he has left.
