Despite the return of three veterans, the Kelowna Rockets were no match for the Kamloops Blazers Friday.

Lucas Bloodoff and Collin Bowman both returned from the injured list while Brandon McMillan played his first game since early December when he left for Canada's World Junior Team.

Bloodoff marked his return with a pair of first period goals, however, not much else went right for the Rockets as they fell 6-4 to the Blazers in the opening half of a home-and-home series.

During the radio post-game show, Rockets assistant coach Ryan Cuthbert says the team did not commit to doing the things they were asked in practice and did not compete hard enough.
