    Default Broncos back in town?????

There continues to be a rather solid rumor floating around that the Broncos have approached the Lethbridge Hurricanes as a possible site for their first round playoff home games. Seems like some group went ahead a scheduled a curling championship right when the Broncos would be in the playoffs.

    Any truth to this?

Broncos move to Lethbridge, then move back to Swift Current and now could be heading for Lethbridge as their home for the playoffs.

Oh and if it comes about, I can just hear the Hurricane fans belly aching about finally having playoffs to watch.....mind you they did last year.

Story floating around Swift is, if they meet the Hitmen, then the Broncos home games "could" be played in the Bridge. No decision will be made until they are confirmed in the playoffs and who their dance partner may be. Other talk suggests that if they meet Saskatoon then all games may be played there. No word on what may happen if they play Brandon.

Lethbridge is one of the options, but according to Swift, we are one of a few options. They're looking at game schedules for a few places closer to Swift, like the Hat, to see if they can squeeze in there.
By the way, season ticket renewal drive is kicking into gear. Hope the team rattles off a few wins to help it out....

The rumor mill says that Swift Current has decided to use Regina's facilities so it doesn't look as though Lethbridge will see any playoff hockey in the Enmax Centre this year

That it all depends on who they meet in the first round. Right now that looks like Calgary. Being located in Lethbridge would certainly make travel to and from Calgary easier than being in Regina. However, if they face Brandon, or Saskatoon and being based in Regina would make more sense.

I would to see them play Calgary here just for the simple fact of being able to cheer against the WHL's head office favorite franchise, backed by big money, and loaded with expensive staff.......Calgary Hitmen!

CANES BECOME SPOILERS HOPE THEY WIN THEIR LAST 3 GAMES!
