Well anyway obviosly you werent at the game to realize Blades outplayed the miniwheats on Friday and were beat by officials making stupid calls on blowing play dead for a goal and missing highstick. And saturday wasnt even a hockey game! More like a game between officials who could blow whistle harder. I imagine they did more of that in there dressing room after the game! Blades will take 2 of 3 in Brandon!

Nice 1st post. Blades Mojo. The Blades are not done yet. Molleken is back for the game #3 on wednesday and Randy McNaught is back for game #4.

Getting the coach back should help.

Wednesday is a must win for the Blades. If the Tigers and Hitmen can come back from being down 2-0 and win the series so can the Blades. Anything is possible!!!

Well im actually suprised it took till game 2 to for the refs to screw things up on the Blades, who is Zalasky and Herman gonna give more respect to McCrimmon or our asst coach David Struch.? i called this before the series started that **** wont go down with Lorne back behind the bench.

Not really sure you can blame the officials for either game. The Blades took too many stupid penalties and it looked like they were warned numerous times about the chintzy stuff. They just refused to stop doing it and got called on it.

I don't think the Penalties made any difference and if both games had 0 penalites the scores would have been

5-1 For Brandon in the first game as you score 3 Power Play goals and actually scored a short handed goal to Brandons 1 power play goal

2-1 For Brandon in the second game.

We are not a Power Play specialist team and are easily the best team 5 on 5 against anyone in the League

What is killing the Blades is anytime the try to open it up the Wheaties are more then willing to go end to end and shot for shot. Doing that against a team 4 lines deep is tough to do.

The Blades have nullified the first and second lines effectively but the 3rd and 4th lines just rolled over the blades 3rd and 4th lines and 3rd pairing defence.

Now your coming to Brandon were you will not have first change and KM will be throwing out the 1st and 2nd line against those bottom pairings.

While I won't count out the Blades you have to admit it is not looking good

Best of 7 series means that you need 4 games to win. Meaning that a game isn't won in 2 games or 3 but you need 4! This would mean your only half way there.
And as a hockey player who has come back from being down 3-0 series knows you don't play to win the game! You play to win your shift, and the period. 1 period at a time is all it takes.
One other thing! I really, really, really hope that there is a power trip of officiating in Brandon who feed of the boos of a home town crowd. It would make my day to hear the colony start up and realize officiating can have an effect on a game.

The colony?! haha! Funny stuff... and so nasty and demeaning too!! lol!

Don't worry, we've had our fair share of Herman and Savage and other crappy refs too and I'm sure we will again.

I had been really impressed with how the fans on both sides of this series had been very respectful towards each other, suddenly that's changed.. Too bad really. We are fans supporting our teams, nothing wrong with that, does it need to lead to personal attacks and broad sweeping insults? I'm sure Wintoneak and Inglis would be proud..

Anyway, best of luck to the Blades, I still think the Wheaties are far from done in this series, as you said, one team has to win 4..

Might want to upgrade your Vic 20 to a 21st century computer. The WHL website offers the games live for a small price. I watched the game too. You may have to save up your cans and bottles and pay to watch your over matched Blades lose in Brandon. That is, if your not gonna take your sister out on a date Wednesday.

We won a sloppy 1st game, but by no means outplayed. Cry and whine all you want about the refs, but they replayed all of the penalties and they were all undisciplined penalties from a team melting down. You were just out played and out classed.

The coaching angle did come into effect when your assistant coach kept putting out your best line against our best checking line. Even when you had last change! For both games.

I agree it's not over and the blades are gonna bring it on Wednesday, but they really have to show me more than they did in the first two games to change my mind.
