Pregame update thanks to Greg Drinnan,

the Hitmen will scratch Peter Kosterman, Jaynen Rissling, Justin Kirsch and Rigby Burgart tonight. The Hitmen are playing their top 12 forwards imo tonight.

Sounds like the Hitmen will start with the following lines:

    Bubnick-Shattock-Foucault
    Fisenko-Cowan-Fiddler
    Schultz-Broda-Sylvester
    Royer-Kozun-Beach

It will be interesting to see how long Kozie lasts on the 4th line.

Well he didn't last too long. The Wheaties made sure of that. Right now its just beyond the midway point of the 2nd period and the Hitmen have stopped skating and are just standing and reaching and coincidentally Calgary is in penalty trouble. All tied up 3-3 now...

    Default (sigh) That hurts...

Tough one...the Wheat Kings seemed to have the extra jump in overtime.

The Wheaties were the better team tonight and there is doubt about it. They played their best game in probably a couple of months if not the season. If not for Martin Jones, this game is a blow out.

Hard to imagine why the Hitmen just didn't have anything happening the last 40 minutes and in the OT.

Nevertheless, thanks to the Hitmen for a great season.

What are you talking about? I was stating what I had read and heard the past 24 hours. Did you even read the part where I said the game was going to be closer than what the "experts" were predicting. I don't know what your problem is around but you are not making many friends.

    Default Great Season Hitman

Congratulations on a great year Calgary--certainly a tough way to go out. Very classy Calgary fans on these boards with all their best wishes to the Wheaties.
