Don Nachbaur to be named Chiefs coach

I love this move. I still really can't believe the Chiefs got him, but I think it's fabulous. The Chiefs will likely be in rebuilding mode this season, but at least we know they are going to give a good effort each and every night. I'm looking forward to there finally being some kind of system and order from the bench boss that we haven't seen in Spokane since Bill Peters left.

I wonder how the Ams fans feel about this?

If he is hired, it would be odd especially since there are so many games against each other. I always appreciated how hard Nachbaur's teams played and the work ethic that was instilled here before he left. It's unfortunate that he was only 1 year up in the AHL then to come back (potentially) to coach the main rivals. To compare, it would be like Peters resigning his position to come coach the Ams. It would be odd.
