Let me preface this by saying I know a lot of you out there have better information than I have. This is just a first stab at what I see from the outside looking in.

FORWARD
At forward I believe there are 7 "locks". While I do not believe Cumiskey himself is a lock, I believe the Tips will have a 90 born (20 YO) forward. So his spot is "locked". The 8th spot at forward will either be another 20 YO forward, someone from the list below the 7 "locks" or a new arrival. And of course one or two of these guys will/may be rotating those 7th and 8th spots

Forward - locks
Clayton Cumsikey – 1990
Kellan Tochkin – 1991
Tyler Maxwell – 1991
Byron Froese – 1991
Cody Fowlie - 1992
Manraj Hayer - 1993
Jesse Huhtala – 1993

Forward - playing for a spot
Scott McDonald – 1991
Campbell Elyniuk – 1992
D Jay McGrath – 1992
Markus McRea – 1992
Tyler Giebel – 1993
Josh Winquist – 1993
Mitchell Loose - 1993

DEFENSE
At defense I believe there are either 4 or 5 locks. If both 90 born defensemen are kept, than 5 spots are taken. If one (or both) are let go/replaced than we are probably looking at 4 locked spots. I do not believe both Kulchar and DelaLande will be here at the start of the season...so I'm going with 4 locked spots. The two remaining spots will go to new arrivals or the guys playing for a spot.

Defense - Locks (kind of)
Curtis Kulchar/Chris DeLaLande – 1990
Rasmus Rissanen – 1991
Alex Theriau – 1992
Ryan Murray – 1993

Defense - Playing for a spot
Paul Sohor - 1991
Gabe Minville – 1992
Evan Morden - 1993
Nicholas Walters - 1994

GOALIE
I do not know if Desautels is the heir apparent, but he was the last goalie in camp last year as a 15 YO, so I assume the Tips see something in him. I could easily see the Tips letting him go play full time somewhere though & bringing in a 17 or 18 YO backup goalie and letting Simpson finally carry the full load.

Goalie
Kent Simpson – 1992
Andy Desautels – 1994

Others
Radko Gudas – 1990 (pro)
Thomas Heemskerk – 1990 (pro)
Dan Iwanski – 1990 (retired)
