You are gonna love Shayne's drive, determination and willingness to stand up for his mates. Lots of emotion. Wore a Letter in Chilliwack last year and this year until the OA Cut.

He will be missed here. With all the OA unable to find a spot in the WHL this year, I'm glad he was one who did.

With these 2 additions who will be the odd man out? I think Trask could be the odd man out. A 1991 that has yet to score..

Post Blades acquire Trask from Blazers

Kamloops Blazers General Manager Craig Bonner announced that they have traded 19-year-old forward Jake Trask to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for Saskatoon’s 6th round Bantam draft pick in 2012.

“We would like to thank Jake for his time as a Blazer,” Bonner said. “It was a situation where we needed to get down on roster numbers, and it’s an opportunity for Jake to play in his hometown,” Bonner concluded.

Trask played 143 games with the Blazers over the last two and a half seasons and finished with 41 points. He was originally the Blazers 3rd round Bantam pick in 2008.

The Kamloops Blazers current roster now sits at 25 players including 15 forwards, 8 defenceman, and 2 goaltenders.
