    Post Cougars acquire goalie from Wheat Kings

    The Prince George Cougars announced the acquisition of 18 year old goalie Ty Rimmer from the Brandon Wheat Kings. In return, the Wheat Kings get a sixth round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

    Rimmer, a 5’11”, 175 pound product of Edmonton, AB, was selected by the Wheat Kings in the 14th round, 303rd overall, in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft. Rimmer has played in four games this season, going 2-2-0-0, with a 2.77 goals against average and a save percentage of .902.

    So who is the odd man out now?

    By them keeping Priestner over Clark makes me think that they are pretty high on him so I don't them getting rid of him. Haven't seen Martin play yet so I have no opinion of him.

    Didn't Preistner quit hockey part way through last season?? He only played in 12 games for you guys last season.

    Quit last season and came back this year and tried out and made the team again.
