Struggling
The Ice made a trade for eakin but they dont seem to be playing as well as they were before the deadline! it looks like a Mj vs. Kootney battle could be a very strong possibilty. Can the Ice get it back on track? I havent seen them play lately but their stats are not too good!

I think Kootenay can beat Moose Jaw in a series.
However, if Brandon doesn't beat Red Deer.....It is likely to be a Blades vs. Kootenay 2nd round. Thoughts on that?

Playoff prediction
Kootenay is certainly in the midst of their second bad losing streak of the season. My prediction is as follows: Kootenay will battle long and hard but start to come together as a team in beating Moose Jaw. They will play Red Deer or Medicine Hat in the second round as one of those two teams will surely fall in the first round. Finally Saskatoon will be left, will have to see if Kootenay is healthy at that point.

It is okay, I will muse with myself. Three bold predictions were made and the first one is in the bank. Kootenay vs Moose Jaw. Kootenay will advance was prediction #2.
