Would like to hear feedback from Hitmen fans

Kyle Schmidt was a very good bantam and Midget hockey player. Taken 55th overall by the Calgary Hitmen, Schmidt is a player with decent skill, toughness and size.

I remember watching him with the Warman Wildcats bantam AA team playing with Jesse Forsberg and they were both forces on the ice every tournament.

As a 16 yr old with Beardy's in midget, Kyle put up 10-27-37 in 44 games.

Last year with Calgary, he had 10 points as a rookie. He is a nother player in that key 93 age group which will be important for the Blades if they host the MEM Cup next year. Schmidt will surprise many of you Blades fans.

I also really like the deal. Saw Schmidt a few times last year. Safe, smart, effective, physical. A bit slow footed, but he will add toughness and depth to the blueline.

I saw him play in Calgary last year he looked a little pylonish hopefully he can be physicle and slip into that 6th spot behind stipancik
