    Martin signed with the Flames and is in Abbotsford still. Heard through the grape vine he may not even be coming back. Don't know either to be happy for him or upset that we will miss him on the blue line.

    Under former coach Holick we usually started the season very slowly. With so many rookies I think it is great to have a good start to the season and get a bit of confidence. The returning vets seem to be showing great leadership.
