    Located on the site of the venerable Victoria Memorial Arena the state of the art 7,000 seat facility is the home to the 22nd franchise in the Western Hockey League (www.whl.ca), the Victoria Royals, world-class concerts and sporting events. In addition the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre is available for special events, business and trade shows, family shows and numerous community events throughout the year.

    The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre features more than 1,000 Club and King Club Seats, a fine dining restaurant, a Club lounge, retail space, meeting space, superior sightlines and world-class acoustics

    Coming into town by ferry or plane, the main highway (highway 17) will turn into Blanchard Street. Follow Blanchard into town and you will see SOFMC on the left hand side.

    There is a great restaurant in the arena called the Lion’s Den Restaurant ($26.95) before taxes.

    The Lion's Den Buffet is open at 5:30 pm on game nights (please check hours of operation for afternoon games or concerts). Beat the rush to the rink and come enjoy a relaxing dining experience before the game. Located on the 3rd floor of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, the entrance is located at Gate #6. Reservations are available at 250-220-2636. Event tickets are required to access the restaurant.

    Try Lion's Den “rail seats” for a whole new experience in entertainment dining. Enjoy the Lion's Den buffet and friendly bar service while you watch the game from some of the best seats in the house. Rail seat tickets are available through Select your Tickets at 250-220-7777.
    On the main concourse there is:

    Lighthouse Lounge. Enjoy hot, hand carved sandwiches before or during the game in the Lighthouse Lounge at Center Ice. The perfect pre-game meal to enjoy with your favourite brew from Lighthouse Brewing, proud sponsor of the Lighthouse Lounge at Centre Ice. Club seat ticket required for access to the lounge.

    Ali Baba Pizza. Fresh oven baked pizza by the slice. Located at Gate #3

    Main concourse area has two walk up concessions for food and drink at Gate 1 and 2.
    They do not except Debit Cards.

    FAMILY SECTION:
    Family seating is located in Section 104; this is also our alcohol free section.

    ALCOHOL SERVICE:The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre will not serve more than two (2) alcoholic beverages to a patron at one time and we reserve the right to limit service to one (1) drink per patron. The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre will not serve any patron whom we believe to be intoxicated.
    For Victoria Royals games, alcohol sales within the arena will conclude at the beginning of the third period.

    ATM MACHINES:There are three (3) ATM's located in the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Locations on the main concourse are at Gate #1 and between Gate #2 & Gate #3. The third ATM is located in the Islander Lounge located above the Club Seats (Sections 107-111).

    SCALPING/TICKET RESELLING:Ticket scalpers are not recognized ticket agents of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. If you purchase tickets from a scalper, intentionally or not, you risk being refused entry. To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen, void or other invalid tickets, the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre strongly requests all Patrons to purchase their tickets from the Select Your Tickets Box Office. Patrons may not re-sell tickets at any price on arena property.

    BANNERS, FLAGS & SIGNS:Banners, flags and signs are permitted at games and events provided:
    • They do not interfere with the event or other Patrons enjoyment of the event
    • Cover any advertising or building signage
    • Carry obscene or distasteful messages

    Signs larger than 24" x 24" must be able to roll up or fold. Signs cannot be affixed to any part of Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Poles to display banners, flags or signs are not permitted.

    The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre reserves the right to remove any sign deemed to be inappropriate. Individual events have the right to revoke this policy without prior notification.

    AIR HORNS & NOISEMAKERS:Horns of any kind and other mechanically enhanced noisemakers are not permitted at any time unless otherwise permitted by the artist or promoter.

    CAMERAS:SLR Cameras are not permitted in the venue. Nor is any videoing permitted.

    PARKING:There is parking available at SOFMC in the back of the building. $10.00 is charged.
    Spaces are available on a first come first served basis, with no in-out privileges. You may access the parking lot from either Caledonia Street or Pembroke Street. There are also a number of parking lots in the area surrounding the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
    There are also many side streets that offer free parking after 6:00pm on weekdays and Saturday. Sunday is free.

    SMOKING POLICY:The Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre and its property are 100% smoking free. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre and violators will be ejected from the building. We ask that Patrons refrain from bringing cigarettes into the facility. Patrons found to have cigarettes on their person they will be asked to return the item to their vehicle or throw them away. Once a patron enters Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, they will not be granted in and out privileges.

    RE-ENTRY POLICY:Exit and re-entry is not permitted at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Patrons with medical or other emergencies who wish to leave and return to the building should report to Guest Services Desk located at Gate #1 for further instructions.

    Also important to note (for younger fans) that they'll only sell you one at a time if you are under 22 or 23. Maybe 21? I can't remember which. Either way if you are in your early 20s and looking to catch a game and have a few brews it's probably best not to send your buddy to pick yours up.
