Today, Hockey Alberta and Hockey BC have announced their U16 rosters for the Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup. Team Saskatchewan and Hockey Manitoba previously announced their rosters on October 1st. The Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup will take place at Mosaic Place, the new home of the Moose Jaw Warriors October 27th thru October 30th.


The Spokane Chiefs will have two of their prospects playing in the Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup.


Rhett Gardner, a second round draft pick for the Spokane Chiefs in the 2011 Bantam Draft will be playing for Team Saskatchewan wearing #11. Rhett Gardner is currently playing for the Moose Jaw Generals of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League.


Tanner MacMaster, a first round draft pick for the Spokane Chiefs in the 2011 Bantam Draft will be playing for Team Alberta. Tanner MacMaster is currently playing for the Calgary Buffaloes of the Alberta Midget Hockey League.
