I don't think Maylan is an option here . He asked to be moved last time we had him. Ego may have been greater than talent at that time. A 20 yr old d man with play off experience
for depth may also help. I dont know about Bidlevskii hasn't seen much winning in his career . There are some d men out there that might fit Smith (KEL ) Verdino (SEA ) Weller (RD ) Yadlowski (EVT)

Brendan Gallagher is going nowhere. He will retire a Giant.

Some observations: Do we really know other than Everett and Lethbridge who the sellers are this year? And what do they have to sell? The one problem about the early Jan. 10 traded deadline is that it forces some teams to tip their hand far too early if they in fact are sellers trying to re-stock the prospect cupboard. One major trade after the trade freeze(does anyone know when it ends?) will get the ball rolling. You have to believe that teams like Tri-Cities, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Moose Jaw for certain will attempt to improve their teams. Other teams like Portland, Brandon, Kootenay and Medicine Hat may also go for it as they will lose some high end players after this season---Barsche--sp. and Ross for Portland, Bunz and Etem for the Hat and Stone and Ferland for the WK. It could be very interesting between now leading up to Jan.10.

Kevin Sundher will be in the AHL next year, he's already signed by Buffalo and has nothing left to prove in the WHL.

Regardless, Sundher has had a good season, and getting recently signed indicates he is in the Sabres' plans. He will be eligible for pro next year, and if he is already proven in this level, whats the point in keeping him in juniors where they cant monitor his development as closely?

Unless something goes wrong(or their system is overcrowded, which it currently isnt), he wont be back next year...unlike Cunningham or Davidson for example, who were picked a year after their first eligible draft year.

Oh im sure they do have plans for him if he is signed, just saying its not like he has proved much at the junior level, he would prob be starting off in the ECHL if a team like Stoon traded for him this year & with them hosting the Memorial cup that could make BUF send him back for his final year

Or if he is crazy like Matt Calvert he may just offer to come back even if he lands a spot with Buffalo lol
