These stats courtesy of you of course. Is this his 15 or 16 year old stats?

    Shattuck-St. Mary's (U.S. Prep) 56 23 37 60 26

How do they compare to other Shattuck-St. Marys players stats?

He has good size - 6'0", 170 lb - and that is something the Canes are lacking. He could make the team over some other players, if those stats are really good, just because of his size.

Like you said. Their stats may mean something and it could also mean jack squat. Amson at least has really good size, which as you know, the Canes desperately need. Maybe one or both are tough as nails, heart and soul kinda players or have blazing speed. The great thing is we get to find out in the next few days.

Carter Amson Left Wing 6'2", 175 lb
    2013-14 age: 17 Acquired: 2011 2nd round bantam pick
    Saskatoon Blazers (SMAAAHL AAA midget) 27 5 5 10 24

Cole Plotnikoff Left Wing 5'11", 155 lb
    2013-14 age: 16 Acquired: 2012 2nd round bantam pick
    Valley West Hawks (BCMMHL major midget AAA) 39 13 12 25 28

    Default my projected roster

    1. Maxwell 19
    2. McKechnie 19
    3. Yakubowski 19
    4. Wong 17
    5. Duke 17
    6. Watson 18
    7. Leverton 18
    8. Derko 20
    9. Blomqvist 18
    10.Laurencelle 18
    11.Phelps 17
    12. Olynek 17
    13. Estephan 16

At this point I have Ramsay, Harper, and Sofillas gone.

I am going to assume Phelps is serious about playing here.

    14. Pilon 17
    15. Erkamps 18
    16. Henry 19
    17. Galbraith 20
    18. Hackman 18
    19. Topping 18
    20. Sayers 17
    21. Lenchyshyn 16

I am starting to see value in keeping Galbraith

Kenkhel? Not sure on his status yet

    22.Boes 20
    23. Tai 18
    24. Hogue 17 (until Boes returns)

Too bad Conrad and Raskob are not here.

Probably will see Robson makes a couple trades in the next 2 weeks.

Derko and Galbraith as 20's are tough and nasty yet still have the speed and skill to hang with the rest of the roster.

It sucks that Phelps Raskob and Conrad are not joinig the Canes. I think the organization has made a lot of important improvements over the last few years like an improved Enmax Center, Hockey Staff and also a much better prospect list.
Hopefully the past isn't holding us back. Its a new era.

    Default Phelps aint done yet...

Before you all give up hope on Mr. Phelps, just know that he went home now and will make a decision as to what he wants to do within the next week. Pat S. said so on his twitter account earlier today replying to someone who asked the same question. I really hope he sees the opportunity he has here to make a real impact on his team. The chemistry between him and Duke seemed evident, and will just make each other that much better....

    Default Conrad committed to NCAA

Never argue with idiots, they just drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

    Default Colt Conrad

Good luck to him at Sshattucks and then NCAA. He is a terrifiic talent that we will miss out on.

Maybe he'll be back in a year or 2, you never know!

Cetainly Raskob, Conrad, and Phelps stay on the 50PPL without question.
Perhaps those 3 are just keeping their options open before they really have to make a decision.

    Default Captains

    Any opinions?

    My guess

    Russ Maxwell C
    Jaimen Yakubowski A
    Adam Henry A
    Sam McKechnie A
    Josh Derko A

We will wait for a puff of smoke to rise from the Enmax signalling that a decision has been reached.
