Post Rockets aquire Kelowna product Brennan Clark

Kelowna Rockets President and General Manager Bruce Hamilton has announced that the Rockets made a trade at the WHL Bantam Draft.

The Rockets acquired the rights to 17-year-old forward Brennan Clark from the Victoria Royals in exchange for a 12th round WHL bantam selection in 2014 as well as a conditional 6th round pick in 2015.

A Kelowna native, Clark played the last two seasons with the West Kelowna Warriors of the BCHL. In 48 games played last season, the 6-foot, 190 pound forward had 17 goals and 7 assists.

"What we like most about him is his good two-way play, his competitiveness, and he brings a bit of physicality," Frey said. "We don't know what he's going to do. At this point, he's playing (for West Kelowna) and has chosen the college route, but things can change sometimes. We just thought we'd take a flyer on it."
