I heard that Hockey Canada is contemplating a new ruling for World Junior Championships held on Canadian soil - All goalies must have a dual citizenship - Canadian and the country they choose to play for. Countries not able to play such a goalie will be allowed one additional defenceman on the ice. IIHF is not currently in favour of such a ruling but since the next two Canadian visits revolve around the centre of the universe the prospective revenue sharing is swaying their decision.
