Tri-City Americans Governor/General Manager Bob Tory announced that the team has acquired 17-year-old forward Taylor Vickerman from the Vancouver Giants in exchange for a 2nd round pick in the 2015 Bantam Draft.

Vickerman, a 6’1 180-pound left wing from Kennewick, Washington, spent his rookie WHL season with the Giants last year, appearing in 52 games and compiling four goals, 9 points and 18 penalty minutes.

“Taylor is a player who will bring size and grit to our line-up,” explained Tory. “His addition addresses a need on our depth chart at the 1996-age group and creates a very competitive environment at our training camp, as we now have more forwards than roster spots available.”
