    Agree with witness. I think Rodewald would have been a third liner at best. We have too many 19 year olds. Hansen is in the age group that the Pats are trying to work around. The deal breaker could be the "conditional" draft pick. Wonder what kind of pick we are giving up and under what grounds.

    Go Pats!!! Home opener tonight! Did anyone else noticed the WHL channel? (Channel 1 Access Comunications) The game is being shown live?

    This deal was a swap of 3rd line guys don't think anyone is questioning that of this trade. Yes there is prob still some untapped potential with Hansen & should become a 2nd line guy in his 19yr old season.

    As for the conditional pick which was a 6th rounder I'm guessing it would be if Rodewald makes the team as a 20yr old the Pats would have to give the pick. Can't see any other ties to the conidtional pick in a Rodewald trade.
