    Watson: I thought he was particularly effective in the 2nd part of the game. Also showed some nice vision on 1 goal, strong skater, not lightning fast, but strong. Drives the net, showed some nice things....

    "F Jamal Watson, a 20-year-old acquired by the Seattle Thunderbirds from the Lethbridge Hurricanes over the summer, has been assigned to the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps. He had been in camp with the Montreal Canadiens, the IceCaps’ NHL parent, in hopes of earning a pro contract"

    I hope he makes the IceCaps.

    You are right about that. He is the one player who put up with all the garbage here for many years and never walked out.

    If Watson does not get sent back to Seattle, that may be the first trade the Canes have won in like forever. Millette is looking great, plus we got a 5th round pick in 2016.
