I'm sure he is. Once Sward got the "C" on his sweater I figured that was a pretty clear indicator Thrower wasn't coming back.

Given the probability of the post season only being 4 games anyone not a couple days away from being healthy is likely gonna find themselves on the outside lookin in.

That too. Even if Thrower were healthy the series against Portland only goes 4 games, IMO. So without him that is pretty much a foregone conclusion.

He's going to have surgery on his ankle. He's done for the season & his career in the dub. Montreal wants to get this done so he can be ready for camp in September.
