Visiting Red Deer

Hello Guys I am just looking for information on good hotels and food in Red Deer. My former Billet has accepted a scholarship to Red Deer College for the 2014/15 season and I will be traveling to Red Deer quite a bit this winter. Any info would be great. Thanks

Holiday Inn in Gasoline Alley is really nice. They have excellent food as well. Don't know if he serves them in the restaurant, but I have had his scalloped potatoes at a couple of meetings we have had there and they are unbelievable. There is pretty much every restaurant chain in Red Deer so i guess it depends on your tastes. La Casa Pergola is nice if you are looking for something a little fancier. The Ranch House on the North end is reasonably priced with everything made from scratch.
