Honka Leaving Swift?

Congratulations to Lernout, Martin and Honka on being drafted!
I was pretty excited to have 4 NHL picks on the blue line next year...but I am hearing Honka is bring sent to Finland to play in the men's league there by the Dallas Stars. Anyone have some insight into this?

That would suck for the Broncos and the WHL. I like Honka, fun to watch when ur team was here playing the Blades.

Honka might not be the only import leaving his team. It sounds like the Blades are considering trading Scherbak if the deal is right. I'm wondering if the Canadians or his agent have asked Woods if he'd consider moving Scherbak to a contending team. Hope it doesn't happen though, least not until the trade deadline when teams usually overpay for players then.

Things are looking bright for this year in my opinion.

Is Cave going to be back?
Heathington is dominate.... anyone hear about his Columbus camp?
Martin will be another year older and this will be a big year for him.
Honka will be back.
Lernout great 4th guy.
D side of things are the best WHL with those 4 and the supporting players. Do you trade one to get a little more scoring punch up front?

Thoughts on putting the puck in the net offensively?
