What the hell kind of trade is this? Is there any way it could possibly be more lopsided in Brandon's favor? Robson if there was ever any doubt about your inability to be a GM, this is it.

I guess looking at the Brandon squad, Hurricane fans can see what type of team they would have had if they had decent coaching and a management team.

You guys will like Kitt and Pankewicz. Both play tough, in your face hockey. Lindgren is a solid guy too, but you won't notice him out there as much. Kitt has some offensive potential too.

What should we expect out of Duke and Erkamps??

Things were pretty bad with Preston in here running things but now I only wish we could have something close to that level of terribleness.

This new group of morons Robson/Berehowsky are truly one of the worst group of management in any league of any sport.

You would almost think they are trying to make the stupidest moves they can. It must be a bet they have to see how many ridiculous moves/losses they can make without getting fired.

You got some good character guys with good upside, all way better players than Cooper
Lindgren is fast and can put up points
Kitt is really game, a big body and can skate and score
Pankewicz is offensive, willing to stand up for his team-mates.
Kitt and pank just didn't get the ice time they need to develop here.

What can you tell us about the 3 guys coming to bdn? Is Anholt likely to go CHL or NCAA? Does he have potential? Who would you compare these 3 guys to?
Never argue with idiots, they just drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Good god what a bunch of buffoons.
    I love it!
These idiots shouldn't be managing a peewee house league team let alone a team in the 'best' developmental league in the world.
OMG, this is so awesome I can't stop laughing.

Well, it is no secret that both are quitters! LOL But that seems to be becoming an excepted practice in this league or at least the Hurricanes, don't like things, demand a trade, go home and get a big reward! Erkamps was -62 in 68 games last year, decent point output, but that all came primarily from PP time, cannot really play in his own end as he is very seldom even there. Duke would have to be viewed as a bit of a head case, perceived as thinking he is better than he really is? But, that will all likely be written off as a product of the poor coaching and management that is currently running the Lethbridge franchise, good luck to both!

Erkamps isn't going to be mistaken for a chris Pronger or Scott Stevens anytime soon but he is a useful defenseman that can be very productive on a 2nd pairing/PP.

Duke has a lot of talent and if on a real team likely goes much higher in the NHL draft than he did. He will be a great top 6 guy for you contributing at all aspects of the game and likely a top player for the Wheatkings for the next two years. He can make the difference for Brandon being a good team to now a real contender.

Don't worry about garbage comments from bitter fans about "quitting." Both guys did the right thing and only took time off from the team because of the absolute gong show that is going on with the pathetic Gm and Coach. Both guys have great character and are huge additions to any team in the league. To get them for absolutely nothing makes the deal even that much better for Brandon.
