    Am I the only one surprised to not see Merkley's name throughout the seven rounds??

    Not at all. I too am surprised and disappointed.

    This is a quote from an article in today's Calgary Herald about Kohn and Dupont.

    "Rated 81st by CSS, the centre from Blackie surprisingly was not among the 230 players chosen.

    Also utterly ignored were the two Hitmen who were tossed back into the draft waters -- forward Steve Covington (chosen 226th by Detroit a year ago) and defenceman Darryl Yacboski (drafted 257th by Colorado in 2003)

    Default Don't foget...

    Fredrik Pettersson. He was drafted by the Oilers which is awesome. He's a small guy that many in Europe think will do very well in the WHL, maybe even as well as Sjostrom.
