Crunk is back with the team now. I'm happy because I'm tired of seeing this team pushed around and seeing one of the Cougars tougher players fight Benson and knock out Cox earlier tonight. I think Cox is going to be out a very long time. He looked concussed pretty badly. At least Crunk won't put up with that kind of **** without reacting. Nobody on the Giants did jack **** about it tonight. Very annoyed by that. Don't let the box score fool you if you see that Thomas fought McAuley. McAuley had to ask Thomas to go and Thomas obliged. Thrower or Odgers or somebody should have went after him without giving him any option about it. Even though McAuley didn't get a penalty on the play it was a late hit and it wouldn't shock me if he is suspended. But I hope he isn't and I hope Crunk tunes him up. That is always better than any suspension.

It was a hit in the 1st period. McAuley has been suspended for it. Cox wouldn't be fighting McAuley.

On Wednesday night Benson fought McAuley. Last night McAuley knocked out Cox with a dirty hit. The same guy targeting two of the Giants better players. That cannot happen without some sort of response. I know some may point out Benson was a willing combatant but the point is that shouldn't have to happen. Somebody else should be stepping up and dealing with the pest. A guy like Crunk certainly will.

Crunk fought Johnson, the officials deemed it a staged fight so both got fighting majors & game misconducts.

McAuley wasn't dressed as he was waiting to hear how many games suspension he got.

I don't think the Giants have been pushed around but I do think they have turned the other cheek because at this point in the season, wins are what they need more than fighting majors.

Getting both wins in PG this weekend was huge. The Giants are the only team to go into PG & sweep the series. Also, the road team has one every game in this season series.

I believe they play 3 more times before the end of the season so I definitely see some more fireworks happening at some point.

They have been, especially lately. They don't have a forward capable of throwing a heavy hit minus maybe Hardy. But as a 16 year old he isn't out there enough to make a huge difference nor should that be expected of him. Crunk will be able to provide that. I didn't like getting rid of him in the first place without replacing him with a similar type player. There is a lot of skill up front on this team but very little size. It's far too easy for other teams to target those guys like the Cougars have this season.

I think that makes sense as all. And a guy like Colton Waltz was available from Brandon and I thought he would be a good fit for the team. But apparently there was no interest from the Giants. Either way if they plan on trying to make the playoffs a defensive defenseman is needed and a bigger forward. Crunk helps fit the latter but the former is going to be difficult to find, IMO. A lot of teams are looking for that.
