    Default Recaps anyone?

I have been out of town and out of touch with the team for several weeks now and have not even done box score recaps. Does anyone care? I am going to be out of town for most of January as well so it's unlikely I will be posting too many recaps this month, but if someone out there would like me to I could, or someone else can give a quick recap of the games - I for one would appreciate it. I would prefer if they would use the titling format I use, but other than that it would be good to hear other perspectives on the games. I have enjoyed the boys mini-streak and am a bit disappointed that I have not been able to watch or listen to most of the games.

    Happy New Year All

Wow nothing? Okay I'll recap when I can and if anyone actually would like to post something about the games I and I am sure most of the others on this site would appreciate it. They might not even have to hear/read someone railing maniacally about the refs. I really would love to hear other people's perspective on the games, esp since it is unlikely I will be watching while I am out of town. Great period in Calgary so far.....

I missed part of the 3rd but the 1st and 2nd period were arguably the best the Giants played this season, IMO. Strange given the fact they were shorthanded. You'd think fatigue would be a factor. Houck and Stukel were invisible and Porter was chased from the net. Kubic was solid once again. Much better effort than Wednesday night that's for sure. It's surprising they can play like this without two of their better players.

On another note as much as people like to rag on Bonner he really got a great return for Josh Thrower earlier today. I can't believe a team gave up that much for a mediocre 19 year old unlikely to be back in the league next year as an overager. The Giants got more in return for Thrower than they gave up for him a couple years earlier while his game hasn't progressed whatsoever. Awful deal by the Warriors.

yeah bad deal for them in my mind, but I'll definitely take it. I caught some of this game vs the Hitmen and I was impressed with a bunch that the boys were doing. Not sure if they have been that dominant most nights, but Calgary is usually a tough place for us to get a win, but this night was ours.
