Can't argue with any of that. I do think Hay's shelf life with the team was expiring regardless. But it didn't help to have two head coaches behind the bench. You know egos are going to get in the way at some point. It's inevitable. Problem was they just assumed it would be easy to replace Hay with a good coach because at one point this was a very desirable organization. They made the mistake of waiting too long...all the good coaches had jobs and they got stuck with Ward. Needless to say that was a horrible choice and one could argue they never fully recovered from that huge mistake. Now a lot of people want to steer clear of the Giants. Can't say I blame them. It's a **** show dysfunctional from the top. Toigo needs to realize he may have the money but he doesn't know **** about how a team should be run from a day to day standpoint. He is an owner for a reason. Stay that way. Don't pretend to be anything more than that and everybody else is better off because of that.
