Max Paddock and Nikita Sedov are both on the Final 2019 NHL Central Scouting Draft Rankings list:

Also, I was saddened and shocked to learn that former Regina Pats player Dmitri Nabokov passed away a couple of days ago (illness) at age 42. He only played on the Pats for one year (1996-1997), but he was one of my favorite players on the team that year. I've been thinking for a while that the Pats could use a player like him next year.

That was certainly sad news to hear about Nabakov. He was an exciting player who passed far too soon.
With Max and Nikita's positioning in the draft, it will boil down as to whether or not any team sees the upside in eithers potential. Strange trivia: On the list Sedov is one spot ahead of Barlage who was a 4th overall bantam pick.
With 3 of 4 Division winners in the final four, it pretty much has played out according to form. It's still hard to fathom that Lethbridge with all it's offensive firepower was ousted. Goaltending defence did them in.
Everett losing was a bit of surprise. They out shot Spokane by a wide margin but Spokane's goalie outplayed Wolf. Everett is not a real deep team and having Sutter out most of the way hurt them a lot. PA looks to be the favourite the rest of the way.
Very quiet news wise from Pats or LP these days.

Nikita Sedov makes Team Russia for Under-18 World Championships

The tournament starts tomorrow in Sweden. Dave Struch is the assistant coach for Team Canada. It should be a good experience for both of them. I don't see Kirby Dach on Canada's roster. Is he injured from the PA series? Last I heard was that Team Canada would possibly still add players from teams that lose out in the second round. Kirby would certainly be a player that they'd be looking to add to the roster, unless he is injured and cannot play.

Dach was visibly hurt during game 5...a knee, leg injury of some kind. Dach was not a factor in game 6.
