How well is Chad Nychuk playing? I can see why they dumped Wyntick, he is a much better version of him. I hear he might end up drafted because of his play. Our defense is going to be so good next year with Schneider,Nychuk,Iorio,Salame and Lambos all returning. Kruger will end up the starter.

Pretty sure we won't see Burzan back next season but it still leaves us Reinhardt,McCallum and Pierce as 20s to start the season. They may might to bring in a 20 on D with some size but maybe they go the Euro route, maybe they can use that connection to Vegas and land a good D.

Liking how Chiasson is coming along. I think he is going to be very good for us next year.

Be intesting to see who is going to make the team out of the 16/17 year olds next season. Not a lot of spots open.
Potential O/A next season are Burzan, Reinhardt, McCallum, Pierce, Sekundiak, Perepeluk, some really good options there and all those guys probably deserve to play their 20 year old season somewhere in the dub, Burzan i think they put in the AHL
16/17 additions for next season, depends a bit on the O/a they keep, hyland, danielson, Hammett, Hoffrage, Dube, Zimmer, Roersma all probably feel like they have a shot

This next weekend should show where the WK's stand, they are in a dog fight for a top 3 place, the Blades have an easier run in, but I still predict Wpg, PA, bdn, Blades as the order, Wpg need to keep Hughes healthy because without him, they goaltending is a sieve
Never argue with idiots, they just drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Should be interesting to see if Colorado signs burzan and/or if thereís room for him in the AHL. Colorado has a pretty stacked farm team do they not?

Also looking forward to seeing who cracks this lineup next year. Seems we have too many high end prospects looking for spots with little room available. There will barely just enough room for those 3 first rounders from 2019 draft +hyland/Dube. As much as Iím starting to like sekundiak/Pearce , they probably gotta go somewhere else next season to make room for some of the good prospects.
Can see hoffrogge and maybe turner being the additions on D.

Interesting to note, the wheatkings have now given up the least amount of goals in the eastern conference.

Im really hoping we get to see a playoff series between Brandon and Winnipeg. Both are 2 of the hottest teams in the league right now and both have won 4 out of the 8 meetings this season.

Any predictions for these 2 games? On paper Leth is the toughest game. Ginell out for greig is my guess..... Hopefully Bdn can get off to a quick start both games.

If they keep playing with the same level of intensity as of their last couple/few games and keep getting stellar goalkeeping, no reason they can't win both. As long as they keep playing the way Lowry has them playing lately, it will be entertaining nonetheless.

Well this team is showing they can pull out wins even when they don't have there A game. I think what is making this team so good right now is there depth. The bottom 6 spend most of there time in the O Zone. That is the difference in my opinion why there winning is there depth and good goaltending . Exciting product right now. Shame the city isn't supporting them . ****ty Crowds

2 exciting games, and 2 games showed that the WK's learned they can't get away from their heavy game against higher end teams. Leth play that chippy, in your face game, and with the way the refs call things, you have to keep your temper in check, like Thorpe did against Addison, not like Reinhardt and McCartney. Turning point sat was when Greig couldn't push the puck over the goal line and Leth came down the ice and made it 4v2. OT was really fun to watch, both teams with multiple chances. I thought the biggest difference in both games were special teams, Bdn needs to work on that PP, against Leth they could hardly enter the zone with puck possession. Cozens is a smooth operator, nice player.
Lastly, what is it with Addison? Such a good skater, tonnes of potential, but such a whiner on the ice, and what was with his BS on thorpe? Next time Bdn play leth, I'd focus on hitting him (cleanly), looks like he hates being hit, he's going to retaliate & end up in the box, and anytime you can get him off the ice, that's a good thing. Was he undisciplined like this in bantam and midget?
Road trip, if they can go .500 on this trip, i'd call that a success

I wonder why attendance is down this year in Brandon. The team just ended a 10 game winning streak, is exciting to watch and yet only 3200-3800 fans turning out? Why? Two very good teams just came to town, our team was on a serious winning streak and we can't get over 4000 fans in the building?? Any thoughts?

I always thought they only ever got 3200 to 3800 consistently until the playoffs? I think I heard as long as they have a certain amount of season ticket holders and the attendance stays in that range they not only break even but make a decent amount of money

Expenses this year will be lower due a team in Winnipeg, so I guess if they still make some money their attendance is ok. I just seem to remember that most Fri night games in the past had over 4000 fans.
