Icon32 2019-2020 - November& December Games - Drown your sorrows over the season here!

20 games in the next 2 months - I predict they will go 8 & 12 over this period. It has got to get better!

Default TRADE: Pats acquire forward Caiden Daley from Brandon for forward Duncan Pierce

The Regina Pats Hockey Club has announced they have acquired 19-year-old forward Caiden Daley from the Brandon Wheat Kings in exchange for 19-year-old forward Duncan Pierce.

Looks like Daley is getting a fresh start in Regina. Brandon must have had high expectations, as he was 1st round pick in 2015.

playoffs seem to be looking more and more like a longshot thanks to this absolutely horrific start, though we are getting better and honestly its still relatively early. As far as the basement goes, PG added a OA import back on their team. One would think they should be better, at least good enough to move out of the whl basement pack. Meanwhile swift inexplicably traded their best young forward/overall player for some spare parts and a 3rd. Though it was to another basement friend in red deer who now got alot better.

Tonight vs swift might be our only important game so far this season. Partly because if we cant beat them, an already ghastly team that just got rid of their top goalscorer(kiviniemi) and top overall forward(king), then how tf should we expect playoffs without a massive makeover?

(Though they did add our pal alkhimov. At least one of their players should be motivated.)

But more importantly this game matters because of that first round pick of theirs we have from the jake/hank trade last year. I know theres a stupid lottery, but the worse they are, the higher our chances of drafting a new franchise player are. Kieper looks like a pretty good future whl starter, we have decent defensive prospect depth esp is woogk decides to sign. Forwards are meh. I think its obvious we draft the best forward available.

Oh and we should have a top euro pick too. Hopefully this one actually signs unlike the midget prick who seems content prancing around in that American junior A league that the east coast NHL teams love so much.

I received an email from the Pats at 7:01pm last night. This email advised that the game with the Broncos was cancelled/postponed. This game was supposed to start at 7:00pm. I had already gone to the rink and come home- Isn't this like closing the barn door after the animals have escaped?

It looks like problems aren't just limited to hockey operations!!

It is Nov 9th, the Pats have 2 wins so far this year, they're missing an import and they need to be sellers at the deadline in order to acquire more 2020 draft picks, so I definitely agree with you on the fact that it's looking like a long shot for them to make the playoffs this year. But a reasonable goal at this point would be to try and finish higher than Swift Current in the standings.

It was on social media at 6:23pm, Twitter, Facebook and all that. Many knew well in advance of the puck drop.

Carter Chorney acquired from Broncos for Sam McGinley.

Carter Chorney is the same age as Sergei Alkhimov, they both had similar stat lines last year and are both off to a slow start this year. Hopefully Chorney can get back on track in Regina. The Pats could definitely use some more production.
