Raiders trim roster...
With the conclusion of the Ice Breaker Exhibition Tournament in Saskatoon, the Prince Albert Raiders have reduced their Western Hockey League pre-season roster by nine players.
15 year-olds Jordan Trach, Blaine Tendler and James Dobrowolski, who all saw action over the weekend, but are only eligible to skate in 5 regular season games this season, have been re-assigned. Trach, the Raiders top Bantam Draft pick in 2005 had 2 assists in 2 games over the weekend.
16 year-olds Shane Malone, Andy Smith, Cody Gross, Brian Sydiaha and Sterling Labatte along with 17 year-old Todd McNeil have been assigned to their respective teams. Smith had 2 goals, appearing in all 3 weekend games at the Ice Breaker.
The moves reduce the Raiders pre-season roster to 27 including players attending NHL camps and injured.
So exactly who is left for the raiders rookie wise?
