Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Medicine Hat Tigers' goaltender Matt Keetley is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending Sunday January 23 after posting a 2-0-0 record, along with a shutout, a 0.50 goals against average and .985 save percentage in two games last week.

Keetley allowed one goal on 37 shots in a 4-1 win over the Calgary Hitmen on January 19 and turned aside 30 shots for his third shutout of the season in a 4-0 win over the Swift Current Broncos on January 21. The 18-year-old native of Medicine Hat, Alberta improved his season record to 9-1-2 with 1.79 goals against average and .937 save percentage in 14 games.

Each week during the regular season, the CHL will recognize the ADT CHL
Goaltender of the Week and will present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the
Year Award to the CHL's top netminder at the conclusion of the 2004-05
season.
