How have Dowhay,Broda and Swaby looked so far?

I didn't see a whole lot of Dowhay (or Prosychen) out in the last couple of pre-season games. Nothing reported on them.

Broda hasn't looked too bad during the pre-season games, but he has a long ways to go. He looked really good during mini-camp (when he played against his age group), but is a little behind in speed of the game, which is understandable. He did take a puck to the mouth against Spokane last Saturday and had (4), count em' (4)!, root canals to try to save his teeth, plus a number of stitches in his upper lip. The puck was deflected from a slap shot and kindof end-over-end got him in the mug. To his credit, he still skated in the defensive zone for about 10-15 seconds until they could clear the zone, while blood was pouring onto the ice.

Swaby has looked improved from last year. His size is still a problem with bigger forwards in the middle, but is not afraid to stick his nose in there. Nachbauer has stated that he is looking for him to step up and assume a leadership role this year. Haven't seen it yet, but its early.
