According to my count, that gives us (3)-20's, (11)-19's, (8)-18's, (4)-17's and (3)-16's on the roster. Could someone please explain to me keeping that many 19's? Next year will be an inexperienced squad, considering we will be losing about (11) players (all the 20's and at least (8) of the 19's) that should be suiting up every game this year, which means our 16's and 17's will be sitting a lot. Maybe we are looking at trading a couple of 19's for some draft picks. I don't know. I'm a little confused.

After thinking about it, it may have something to do with the fact the expansion draft for Chilliwack is next year and we can only protect so many players. I think we can only protect a dozen or so off of our PPL and they can take as many as (5), I think, so we don't want to load up on young talent. I don't know. Oh-oh, headache. I'm thinking too much. Cramp. In. Brain. AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH.

    Can I help you?

    Default True

Though starting with that many 19 year olds is putting us where we were last year with that many 19 year olds. Yet I do agree, maybe with the low number of young talent, we are able to protect them all for us and leave more of the older boys out for the expansion picks.

Default 1 less 19 year old...

You can count 1 less 19 year old and add 1 18 year old as Dowhay is only 18. His birthday is May 18 / 87 according to the WHL site.

You are correct. I took the list off of the Ams website "Meet the team". When I did the post, I didn't check all the players. I did correct Meaver, cause he was drafted same year as Price. I'll edit the 1st post. Good catch.

It's nice to know there are other Ams fans logging onto this website. Hermiston Ams Fan and I we starting to feel all alone in here. Spread the word to all you know. The more input, the better. There is a lot of good discussion on this website from the other teams fans.
