And take a closer look at Scout’s list of players by age. There are lots of young guys but there are lots of older guys too (try 10!) that are 19 & 20. But there’s a black hole of 18 year olds. Of our three picks in the first and second round of the 2002 draft one was dropped (now in Everett) and two didn’t show. Of the other three Defoe and Hengen are playing alternating games. Just an observation. With Brisebois and Leovold gone, we're down two more 18 year olds.
