A wicked slappy from the point. Goalie had no chance on it. I am surprised that he has only one so far.

Ryan had a great game vs the Wild tonight. He scored 2 more goals giving him 3 on the season. Unfortunately he was stopped in the shootout. Hopefully he can stay healthy and keep scoring for the Ducks except when they play the Flames!

Getzlaf demoted
the Ducks sent Ryan down today along with Cory Perry. Its unfortunate for Ryan but hopefully he goes down to the AHL, works hard, and gets another chance up with the Ducks.

Andrew Ladd
Another big congrats tonight to former Hitmen forward Andrew Ladd for scoring his first NHL tonight for the Carolina Hurricanes.
Ladd scored a ppg at 17:42 of the 2nd period.

Congrats to former Hitman Jerred Smithson who scored his first NHL goal tonight for the Preds. Jerred's goal turned out to be the GWG for the Preds in a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Wild.
