They already got rid of a couple of plugs...there area still a couple more to go. For the record, Luke ASKED to be traded. THey would've been better served to get a tough winger, IMO. To lose a kid with the potential that Luke had, especially with the cup coming next season, is not good. Selling too much of the future for a run at the cup is going to make for a pretty crappy team in 08 and beyond. :burningma

Well, if he asked to be traded, then thats a different story. Guess the lack of ice time this year for Egner was the final straw. Had to replace him with another Dman since Fistric and Albers are both down, hopefully Flatters will do allright here. A little more toughness on the back end will be nice.
I am starting to wonder if unloading Gabriel was such a smart move right now, although I am very happy we have Mikkelson.
