Post Blades Make a Trade With Kootenay

The Blades aquired 17 year old 6'0' 200 LBS defencemen Todd Panchyson who hails from Nipawin Saskatchewan, in exchange for a 6th Round pick in the 2006 Bantam Draft.

In his 2004-2005 season with the Tisdale Trojans he played 44 games collecting 6 goals and adding 24 assists for 30 points.

Hopefully this deal will help the Blades solve their defensive problems.

    Default I like this deal...

Todd will have a better chance here in Saskatoon and I'm optimistic he'll do well here. Still young.

Its hard not to like this deal from a blades point of view. To get him for a 6th round pick if he can break the line up and get a regular shift its worth the pick. The chance that a 6th rd pick is going to make the Ice in a couple of years is still a long shot. I think you got the better of this one. I wish Todd well and hope he has a great Jr hockey carrier.

This was the best trade that Todd could have gotten! I can't wait to hear him playing tonight against the Ice!! We will miss him but know this is what is best for his future!
    GO ICE GO !!!
