Thanks in part to a weak East Division and a victory last night over the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors, the Saskatoon Blades have become the first team in the WHL to clinch a playoff spot this season! Congratulations boys, going from worst to first this season!

The weak division certainly had something to do with it but, still, you can only beat the teams put in front of you. Who would have thought that the team would go from a seven game winning season to being the first team to clinch a playoff spot? Quite the turnaround!
