Default ICE vs Red Deer Rebels. Lets go ICE!!!

Well the Ice go into to Red Deer tonight looking for a big win after a heart breaker of a loss to Saskatoon the other day. The Ice far outplayed the Blades for most of the game but ran into a hot goaltender in Anton Kudobin who pretty much won the game for the Blades. After 3 periods solved nothing nor did OT they finished it in the first shoot out in the Rec Plex ever losing 2 to 1. They still gained an oh so important point for their hard efforts and deserved it. Way to play Ice keep it up guys!

If the Ice can come out hard in Red Deer tonight and play their game the way they worked against Saskatoon, I'm sure they can take one on the road and add two more points to their standings with the win. Its not every night a goalie can shut and entire team down and they know that, so Im hoping they will come out firing on all cylinders against a team with currently the worst record in the WHL in the Rebels. They always seem to play us well so the guys know they cant take them for granted and put out another great effort. Lots of shots like the game against the Blades should get them what they are wanting tonight, a WIN! Woo Hoo!! Go hard tonight Ice we'll be listening to the show and cheering you guys on.

not being at the game, but listened to the post game show, it sounds to me as if another goalie stole the game. Reimer was 1st star, and on the Rebels team, thats a huge accomplishment. Of course, the team must have played well, but it sounded like Reimer was the difference.

It doesn't seem to mater if the Rebels are the top team in the league of if they are fighting to make the playoffs, they always play us hard and usualy win on their home ice.

Seemed like the ICE were off their game, but loads of credit to the Rebs, THEY played to win and did. Petkau seemed in place and on time. Nice fit. Good to have Chapman back. Can't wait for the T-Birds tonite.
