and i was also talking to A.J. thelen and Evan Schafer and they told me that they were going to differnt teams as of tuesday.

A.J. is going to Houston Areos (AHL) farmteam of Minnestoa wild

Evan Schafer is going to Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL

so they have signed these tryouts but not their nhl rookie contracts ? think they are waiting to view their performance before signing them ? isnt florida everblades the panthers affiliate ? why wouldnt shafer go there, why greenville ? thats atlanta and edmonton i believe.

Habs sign Chipchura



Sportsnet.ca -- The Habs have locked down their 18th overall draft pick from 2004.

Kyle Chipchura has signed a contract with the Montreal Canadiens and can begin play with their AHL affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs.

In 59 games this season with the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders, Chipchura has 21 goals and 34 assists to go along with 81 minutes in penalties.
