    Further research reveals this gem...
"Darren Lynch was acquired in March, 2006 from the Las Vegas
Wranglers for Ty Morris. Lynch is in his 2nd year of
    professional hockey."

    Not sure how this works..but
Courchaine, after leading his Ice Pilots in scoring, gets the call up to Houston. Has a blah 10 games with them. Then gets sent down to Gwinnett (farm for Chicago) to finish the season...I assume to give him (and Gwinnett) a chance at the playoffs...Finished regular season with 2 assists in last 3 games.
Not sure how this playoff stockpiling is legal, as far as trade deadlines go....I guess with the ECHL being such a transient league, the rules are lenient.
Good Luck to Couchaineon the road to the Kelly...

Let's keep our fingers crossed for Meszaros....with only 3 games left he is still in the top spot in +/- this year with a +37(tied with Roszival). If he can keep up this display of defensive fortitude, he will be the 1st Rookie to ever accomplish this.

The Aeros "loaned" him to Gwinnett

I am not sure of the exact rules either, but this kinda stuff happens on a semi regular basis between the AHL and ECHL

    Adam Courchaine

of the Austrian National League in August.
After 15 games this season, he leads the league in scoring with 23 g and 21 a for 44 points and 14 PIMs.

Brule with a good night. 1G 1A and was named 3rd star.

Seems Hitchcock is giving him more ice time and better ice time (
with Adam Foote) and it is paying off.
