    Manchester Signs Lukacevic To Tryout

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed left wing Ned Lukacevic to an amateur tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Lukacevic, 20, appeared in 63 games with the Swift Current Broncos of the Western Hockey League this season. The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Podgorica, Serbia, collected 53 points (25-28=53) and 71 penalty minutes with the Broncos. In four seasons with the Spokane Chiefs of the WHL, Lukacevic collected 84 points (38-46=84) in 175 games (2001-05).

The Monarchs will finish their regular season on Saturday, April 15 at the Tsongas Arena when they play the Lowell Lock Monsters for the second time in as many nights. The puck drops at 7:35 p.m.

Its not likely hes going to get into a game with the playoffs starting for Manchester on Tuesday. Much like Pushkarev last year, Neds likely just going to practice with the Monarchs to get a feel for the game at a higher level.
