This will be a good series as well. I think that people in MJ will never be satisfied but I am proud of these boys. They have shown incredible character and poise. I am impressed with their desire to win and win for each other. You can't say enough about Zetariuk, (playing with eye taped open) Grundling, (rushing back to play), and last but not least Brouwer.
The Tigers are a well rested team with decent goaltending (not as good as Calgary) and have a strong top 2 D. Barker and Russell may be as good as it gets for a one two punch in the Canadian Hockey League. Are they beatable? I would be a fool to say no. They boast a good offense and that offense is mainly led by the ability of Barker and Russell to pass/skate the puck out of the zone. The Tigers have played some good hockey and have beat some good teams. They deserve to be where they are no doubt. I am not prepared to sell the Warriors short. They came back in that series to win and did it very convincingly. I think the Tigers are going to have their hands full and the series will go at least 6 games. If the Warriors can manage a 3-2 lead coming home then we can win the series. If it goes 7 it will be much tougher.
Good luck to both squads. Can't wait til tomorrow. I have my tickets already.
