Calgary, AB – Ron Dube, Director of Scouting for the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club today announced the club has selected twelve players in the 17th annual WHL Bantam Draft. The 2006 WHL Bantam Draft was for players born in 1991 and playing in the four Western Provinces and selected regions of the United States. All of the players selected today are at least on year away from playing regularly in the WHL.

“We are very happy with the selections we made today. We added twelve players, the most in franchise history, that we feel fill some of the holes in our depth chart.
