    Warriors Looking For New Assistant Coach

    The Moose Jaw Warriors are in the market for a new assistant coach.

    Rene Lemire has resigned from the hockey club, due to personal reasons.

    Lemire has been with the club for a year and a half, after joining the team from the Notre Dame Hounds in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

    Lemire worked primarily with the defenceman in his time with the Warriors, and helped lead them to the franchises first ever Eastern Conference Championship.

    The Val Marie product had two years remaining in his contract.

    Ohh, that's a shame. I liked Rene. He seemed like the kind of coach that would yell at his players during intermissions. It seemed to get our team going pretty good. Thanks Rene for helping with the best Warriors season ever! and good luck.
